Some folks say it's alright, but I know it's just sad
To turn your back on what you are and all you've ever had
I knew him back in Dallas when he used his Jewish name
But a young girl named Maria kind of made his whole life change

He said he really loved her, though he knew it wasn't right
He threw away G-d's kingdom a little bit each night
I shake my head in wonder, how this could come to be
With a young girl named Maria and a boy who wouldn't see

It's not a brand new story. it happens every day
They get up and pack their bags and simply walk away
Mom's and dad's are crying when they see them leaving home
With young girls named Maria, who got him for their own.

 And this one...

Pictures of the baby.

Kovi is ka'h such a good big brother... He's extremely gentle with her. He was even slightly traumatized when we first came next to her. Almost afraid to touch or kiss her.

With gentle prodding and caring threats, he became more comfortable with her. :-p

Menny decided to totally chill out on the extra bed in the room.

This was the first picture of me with m'daughter about four minutes after she was born. The nurse didn't open our broken lens cover, which needs to be manually pulled apart. But it's still a precious photo.

Benny posting pictures!!!

Mazal Tov! New baby girl KA"H

Baruch Hashem we are thrilled to welcome our new daughter to the family. Kicking and screaming, she came into this world several hours ago... But we are thrilled (especially Sonia).

I will be naming her G-d willing around Thursday mid-day.

Tonight I realized how spoiled we are in first world countries... When the nurse brought out the baby for the first time for me to see and hold, she asked me if I had a diaper and pajamas for her.

I had this blank, naiive North American look in my eyes. "Oh! I need to supply the diaper and pajamas??!!" I asked, recalling the royal treatment and free diapers, wipes and pajamas that we were presented with when the other two boys were born in New York.

But this is Mexico.

The nurse must have thought I was nuts. At least that's what her facial reaction told me.

I went out and quickly bought diapers and pajamas.

Baby and mom are doing fine.

My mother in law is in town helping out and Baruch Hashem for that. She is amazing!!

Will keep you updated (and post more pictures when I get back to the hospital).
