We need to spend more time with Kovi.
He is almost two years old now and we need to start giving him the serious Chinuch that he deserves. It's difficult. It means that we need to get off this computer, get away from all of our comforts and focus on him becoming a Chossid of the Rebbe's.
It's so easy to say and think, but I'm still on the computer.
I know, I know. Chinuch should have been thought of and implemented 2 years and 9 months ago already... But we're talking
B'dieved.

Shabbos was nice. We had exactly a Minyan of men. About 28 in total with women and children. But the most novel part of it was that every single participant save for one

Chevre! Ir zainen aleh meineh brider un shvesters!***Sonia finally convinced me on Shabbos day to take Kovi for a walk around town. He was going crazy at home and just needed to get out. So I took him.
We walked to the park, where he went running around a bit. Then I decided to take him home.
On the way home, I was about two blocks from the house, when I decided to sit down at the corner on a bench just for two minutes. That way, Kovi doesn't need to strain his little gently kiddy feet, by walking too much at a time. It'll also give Sonia two more minuted of calm at home while I am out of the house.
While we are sitting there, some dude comes up to me and tells me "Shabbat Shalom".
Naturally he was a Jewish boy from New York. He actually used to teach secular studies to a bunch of Lubavich kids on Eastern Parkway. I don't know if it was Oholei Torah or not. But he knew all about Lubavich, the Rebbe... The whole Sh'bang.
He tells me that he is staying across the street at some hotel.
I know the hotel. They have a Mezuzah on their door and when I went inside this past Chanuka to meet the owner, who I supposedly thought to be Jewish. I found out that the owner is not Jewish. But they love Yiddishkeit. I had a long conversation with him and he seemed to be a really nice guy, with lots of Jewish people who visit them and stay with them... Even a Rabbi I was told. Wow! A Rabbi!
We chatted a bit. I invited him to come visit us during the week and that was that.
This morning, the guy is knocking at my door.
He comes inside, puts on Tefillin and then he says that he needs to speak to me.
When he finished his conversation with me in the park yesterday, he went into the Hotel and told the owner how he met me.
"You didn't discuss us did you?" the owner asks him, to which this Jew was quite surprised.
"Of course not! We talked about myself and other stuff." This Jewish Neshoma answered, slightly puzzled.
"Oh, good." replies the owner. "We're trying to work on him slowly."
This Jewish guy realized that the hotel was in actuality a Messianic Jew cult. They get together on Friday night and have a live internet feed of Friday night services with a Rabbi from Dalas, Texas.
The Rabbi who hangs out in the hotel is some Filipino
Goy who isn't anywhere close to a Rabbi.
What a shocker!!
I couldn't believe it.
Well. I will certainly not recommend others to visit the hotel anymore. I hope they continue to be peaceful and spiritual amongst themselves. If they ever ask me to help them out, I will be more than happy to help and assist them with their 7 Noahide laws. But I am still troubled if they are really the horrible Messianic cult... Two blocks away from us! Oy again!
I am slightly tired, so I will rest.
